The girls section of Ross Juniors Football Club only began in August 2011. There are now over 50 playing members and the club have four teams at present, ranging from Under 7 to Under 13s. To celebrate a great year for the club and Christmas the girls had their first annual Christmas party.

To start off with the girls took part in a variety of skill challenges at JKHS on the astro turf. This was then followed by a girls vs parents football match. The one stand out moment being Charlotte's granddad's Stanley Matthews-like dribble followed by an exquisite lob into the top corner. After lots of football the girls went to their home ground, the sports centre for a party.

The party included food, games organised by Fi and Rachel and music from DJs Tomy T and Meg. The medal ceremonies from the football followed and the picture shows all of the winners on the day. The best parent footballers being Tony, Stuart and PJ who were all nominated by the girls.
