ROSS?Bowling Club retained their County Cup title by winning the competition in Eastnor.

Ross beat Eardisland comfortably, as they won by a 12 shot margin.

The winning team consisted of Dave Watkins, Mike Baugh, Paul Rainthorpe, Richard Cooke, Daniel Palmer, Ivan Beesley, Phil Middleton, Barry Payne, Les Williams, Ian Roe, Dave Magness and Martin Smith and men’s captain, Phil Bridges.

The tournament is played on a knockout basis over several weeks.

Several other members of Ross Bowling Club represented the team in the earlier rounds including, George, Rob Gwilliam, Shaun Jones, Alan Page and Jeremy Watkins.
