Herefordshire County Rugby U15s team, which includes six players from Ross-on-Wye, had the opportunity to play at the home of the Worcester Warriors, The Sixways Stadium.

The young sportsmen were playing in a festival which also included teams from Shropshire, Greater Birmingham, Worcestershire, Black Country and South Warwickshire. The Herefordshire team were first drawn against Worcestershire, but they lost 15-5. Then they took on Greater Birmingham and drew 5-5. Their final match against the Black Country was won by Herefordshire 20-10.

As well as players from Ross, the Herefordshire County team is made up from players from Luctonians, Ledbury and Hereford.
