On the morning of Sunday, December 1st the U7s and U8s from Ross Rugby Club played a combined team away at Cinderford.

A spokesperson for Ross Rugby Club said: “A great team performance on a really cold morning. Great linkup and fast support were the key to this morning’s success, which saw no fewer than 11 tries being scored by Ross.

“Well done to the entire team, incredibly proud coaches and parents all round. Players of the match were Archie from U7s and Benedict from U8s.

“Thank you Cinderford RFC players, coaches and parents for wonderful hospitality.”

Ross return to action next week for a home match against Berry Hill. The club welcome players of all ages and ability, and are currently especially looking for U7 players.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
