After a hard fought 8-8 draw away from home the previous Saturday, Ross rediscovered their form to register a nine try bonus point win over Cheltenham Civil service and in the process moved themselves into fourth place in the league.

Ross were ahead within ten minutes, a Chay Brine try converted by Craig Powell put them 7-0 ahead. Within minutes captain Gavin Oates added a second after some great hands set winger, Tom Muldowney, clear. He beat his winger before delivering a great offload out of the tackle, to put Gavin in under the posts.

A lapse in concentration soon after saw Cheltenham score their only try. Then Gareth Holdsworth, and Chay with his second, and Casey Morgan, added further tries all which were converted by Craig Powell to send Ross in at half time 35-7 added with a bonus point safely in the bag.
