Forest of Dean Gymnastics Club once again fielded a successful team of gymnasts when they competed in the Gloucestershire Floor and Vault Championships held in Winterbourne, Bristol.

The eight girls competing won four medals, two silver and two bronze and two top six places on apparatus.

All of the girls showed confident, poised floor routines with good musical interpretation. Several competed new somersaults in their routines for the first time. Eden Addis won silver in the Level 5 Junior 2009/10 group. Eden’s lively and flowing floor routine was placed second and her vault fourth.

Four Forest girls competed successfully in the Level 5 Senior group. Daisy Middleton won the silver medal with a determined confidence on both vault & floor.
