Luke Jones was at Knockhill in Scotland at the weekend riding in the British Superbike Championship Round 4.

Luke, who was on his Triumph 675, had practice on Friday and used this to sort out a few problems to be ready for Saturday morning qualifying. Luke finished ninth overall, which put him on row three for his first race in the afternoon. This was the Sprint race, run over 18 laps.

Luke was in fifth place after lap one, and he had moved up in to third place by lap 11. He held on to that position through to the finish.

The warm up session took place on Sunday morning. The main race, over 26 laps, was in the afternoon.

Luke was fourth quickest in race one, which put him on row two of the grid to start the race.

Luke made a good start and was second after lap one and he held on to that position through to the chequered flag. He also had the fastest lap time of the race.

Luke is now in third position in the championship, on 83 points, behind Andy Reid, in second, with 93 points. James Westmoreland is leading on 115 points.
