Local trainer, Michael Scudamore, secured a win at Kelso Racecourse on Sunday, January 15th, when Two Smokin Barrels continued her unbeaten run over fences to head the TBA/EBF mares’ novices handicap chase, ridden by Liam Treadwell they provided the trainer with a victorious track debut.

Michael Scudamore said: “It was my first runner at Kelso Races. It’s a long way from home but it’s good prize money and a really friendly course with a great atmosphere.”
