Two fire and rescue crews from Ross were called to Wilton Bridge this morning, Tuesday, May 16th at 10am to help rescue a cow.

The animal was stuck in water about a mile from the bridge but managed to rescue itself. It was then left in the care of the farmer

The Ross crews included a water first responder, a crew from Hereford and an animal rescue team from Bromyard also attended.
