Crews from Ross-on-Wye Fire Station dealt with a kitchen fire on Walford Road, Ross-on-Wye on Sunday, December 9th.
The fire was started by a dishwasher and it remained confined to the kitchen. Working smoke alarms were fitted in the property and ambulance attended the scene where residents were checked for smoke inhalation. The fire crew also used tactical ventilation to clear the house of smoke.
No serious casualties have been reported.
A resident who lives very near the property where the fire was commented afterwards to say ’what an amazing job’ the crews did ’to control and confine that fire to a small area. Ross-on-Wye should be very proud of you.’
