A community meeting will be held in Hereford this week in order to address concerns raised by the local community after a number of high profile incidents in the area.

Herefordshire Superintendent Susan Thomas and representatives of Herefordshire Council will be hosting the meeting and invite the public to attend and have their issues heard. The meeting will be taking place at the Kindle Centre at 7pm on Thursday, August 27th.

Superintendent Susan Thomas said: "The meeting on Thursday will be a chance for the local community to raise their concerns and have their issues heard by representatives from the police and the council. The tragic death of Christian Bagley has understandably caused concern within the community but I would like to reassure the public that the area around the Hunderton Bridge and the Great Western Way remains a focus for local police patrols and the investigation into his death is ongoing.

"The meeting will be a good opportunity for local residents to speak directly to the police and council members in relation to issues which specifically impact them so I urge you all to attend."
