What a lovely place to live - Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding area - with a beautiful river, plenty of birds and wild fowl.

I have observed on my walks with my Jack Russell Patch, signs of otters, badgers, hares and plenty of rabbits.

On my latest walk in Penyard Park, we saw three deer and four free range pigs - three small ones and one sow. My dog was on a lead, but they took no notice of us, and allowed me to stroke them; they looked very natural in those surroundings.

I can confirm the small ones like extra strong mints, and the sow enjoyed a Penguin chocolate biscuit.
