The Eagle Inn, Ross-on-Wye, are commemorating the memory of Ollie Floyd this weekend.

Ollie was a member of Ross Rugby Cub who lost his life in 2015 while working at the golf course at the Celtic Manor Hotel.

There is a mural painting of Ollie situated in the function room and when the owners purchased the pub and discovered the background to it, they were happy to keep it.

On Friday, October 19th, from 7.00pm, the Eagle Inn will celebrate Ollie’s life by officially opening the function room and renaming it after him. Ollie’s family and friends will be there.

The Eagle Inn would like to welcome anybody who would like to attend on Friday, and during the weekend.
