Following on from their roundtable conference last year and the publication on Technological Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture, which was launched at the Royal Three Counties Show, Anthea McIntyre MEP invited local farmers and those involved in the Agri-tech industry to a follow up conference on Friday, May 11th at The Royal Hotel in Ross-on-Wye.
The meeting began at 10.30am and finished at 2.30pm. They considered what steps should be taken to ensure innovation in agriculture is at the top of the agenda, and considered how they can support conservation farming and the preservation of genetic diversity.
