Betty Lewis was born on January 19th, 1917 and last week celebrated her 100th birthday.

Betty is a lady who is determined to enjoy everyday, she had at the end of last year been carriage driving with her neice, as she has always had a love of horses but never learnt to ride.

Last week her friends and family from around the world joined together at Brighterkinds Ross Court for a special afternoon tea party. Milo the Shetland Pony enjoyed being fed carrots by Betty and meeting the other residents, before Betty shared her special card from the Queen.

Tea was served including a cake decorated by Mary, Margaret and Rosmary, friends from Ross Court, and Betty shared her memories of a long, happy life with everyone.
