RESIDENTS are being made aware that the schedule for bin collections in Herefordshire has been “slightly shifted” for the Christmas period.
Herefordshire Council says bin collections due on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day have been moved, with all other collections staying the same.
A statement says: "Our Crew members are also driving home for Christmas, so the bin collections over the holiday season have been slightly shifted to allow for some festive rest.”
The changes mean that collections due on Monday, December 25 will now take place on Saturday, December 30; collections for Tuesday, December 26 will now take place on Sunday, December 31; and those for Monday, January 1 will now take place on Saturday, January 6.
