MADAM, I was as surprised as everyone by the proposed boundary including the Kings Acre car parks. I have spoken to Russell Price (Herefordshire Council Planning Officer) and, just to clarify, those car parks will remain in the ownership of Herefordshire Council with the associated car parking charges.

The car parks are included within the works boundary because Tesco are putting in a pedestrian and cycle link between the two car parks not a road for vehicular access as it looks on the plan. They are also widening pavements and improving access, there will be no loss of spaces or changes to charges and parking times.
