The annual Hedgehog Festival was once again a great attraction especially for families. In fact one gentleman said that he enjoyed it so much last year he brought his whole family back this year.

Emma Rudgard-James was the winner of the sealed bid for the Pam Ayres watercolour. She was surprised but absolutely delighted to be the winner. The organisers of the Festival were particularly pleased that it went to someone who lives in Ross-on-Wye and Emma loves Pam Ayres and hedgehogs.

Jack Bowden, five, was the winner of the Best Dressed Hedgehog with his ’Bumble-hog’. His prize was the chocolate hedgehog cake that was donated by the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Men’s Shed.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
