SINGERS from two choirs helped entertained an enthusiastic audience and swell the fundraisings efforts of the Zero Waste Project.
The project, based at the Ross-on-Wye Community Gardens, aims to reduce food waste within Ross, while providing food to those most in need and those who are conscious of their impact on the environment.
The fund-raising event, held at the Community Gardens in Gloucester Road, featured the Ross Penyard Singers and the newly formed children’s Ross Academy Choir.
The event enabled visitors the opportunity to find out more about the project.
The project works by volunteers collecting produce that is close to its expiry date from local supermarkets and made available to those in need via the Zero Waste stall.
