A 37-YEAR-OLD woman accused of assaulting a man in Longhope last summer has been cleared after the prosecution dropped the case against her.

Eleanor Doe of Courtfield Cottages, Townend, Mitcheldean, had pleaded not guilty to assaulting the man on August 11, 2025.

But at a hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court, the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence and the charge was dismissed.

She was formally declared not guilty.
