MADAM, There are some people who are so thick that however many times the message goes out that dogs, taken through St Mary's Churchyard, must be on leads, the animals are allowed to roam freely by their owners.

The rule is daily ignored by a few. Like the man, who last Sunday morning at about 11am let his two dogs run around, if necessary, to foul the graves.

Would he like the resting places of his loved ones fouled by the uncaring attitude of some animal lover? I often think that there are those who are so wooden headed that nothing can penetrate into their brains.
