An exhibition with a difference is taking place at the Hereford Museum and Art Gallery from March 16th to May 18th, 2019.

LEGO® - Brick History takes famous moments from history and imagines them in Lego bricks.

From DNA and the Big Bang to Mozart, Martin Luther King and mobile phones, Lego artist, Warren Elsmore, and his team, have created a celebration of our shared stories, struggles, and triumphs, made from everyone’s favourite Danish toy.

From tiny recreations of Concorde and the Titanic that could fit in your hand, to a 1.5m square medieval castle bustling with activity, there are models to make you smile, to make you think, and to inspire you to build a better world.

Tickets cost £2 for a child, £3.50 for adults or £8.50 family (two adults, two children) under 5s are free.

School bookings can also be made, for either a morning or an afternoon visit.

To book call the Museum team on 01432 383383 or email [email protected]

As part of the exhibition, Hereford BID will host a LEGO® trail around Hereford City centre, you can get involved in the LEGO® related activities on Family Saturdays and during the Easter holidays.

Plus, you can display your own LEGO® models. Hereford BID is challenging all schools, LEGO® clubs and enthusiasts to make a model inspired by a Herefordshire landmark. Models can be any size, and the chosen models will be displayed in shops and businesses around Hereford City for the duration of the Brick History exhibition.

All models must be placed on a solid base to enable transportation to Hereford for display, and be received no later than Thursday, February 28th.

For further details about entering a model, please contact Mike Truelove at Hereford BID. Email [email protected] or call 01432 376830.
