A HEARTWARMING community event for families is taking place aimed at the little ones, and their cuddly companions.

The Teddy Bear Picnic, set to take place on Wednesday, August 27 from 11am to 4pm at the bandstand in Wye Street, in the surroundings of Caroline Symonds Gardens.

This fun-filled, family-friendly event organised by Ros-on-Wye Town Council, is open to all, and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, a picnic, and of course, their favourite teddy bear for a memorable day outdoors.

Children can enjoy craft activities from Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, face painting, circus activities with Jitterbug circus and seed bomb making from Wye Valley National Landscape.

There will also be a prize for the best-dressed teddy, which will be judged by the town’s deputy mayor, Cllr Sarah Freer.
