A poignant but inspiring film following a dancer and fitness instructor as he faces up to life in a wheelchair will be premiered at The Courtyard, Hereford on Wednesday, September 11th.

Thanks to crowdfunding, the film has been submitted to a variety of film festivals for consideration and so cannot be released publicly. However, the premiere of ‘Kris: The Power Of Support’ will be shown on Wednesday to a limited audience.

There are a few tickets left for this event which can be obtained through krissaunders.com/kris

The powerful story follows Kris, who is well-known in Ross for his fitness sessions at Ross-on-Wye swimming pool, and his husband, as they prepare with the participants of ‘Wheely Good Fitness’, as Team Wheely, to go to the Superhero Paratriathlon in Windsor.

Following the film, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session to speak with Kris and the film’s producer, Jamie Wareham. The event will close with a dance performance by Kris of Act 1 of ‘Wishing to die; dying to live’, a three act piece that tells the story of his journey through despair and loneliness, to where he is today.

The premiere will be held at 11am – 12noon in the Studio Theatre of The Courtyard Theatre
