Dozens of stalls will be lining High Street and St Mary’s Street in Ross-on-Wye for the Ross Christmas Fayre on Sunday, November 24th. This means that both these roads will be closed between 6am and 7pm, the alternative route is via Broad Street, Kyrle Street and Edde Cross Street.

Organisers have issued a reminder that any cars parked in the lay- by at the Market House or near Scope, Lloyd’s bank and on the corner of Palace Pound opposite the steps to Mary’s Church have to be removed before the road closure comes into force. Any cars not moved before this time will have to remain in place until 7pm.

The Fayre starts at 11am and as well as stalls filled with plenty of gift ideas there will be several different food stalls and charity stalls in St Mary’s Church Hall.

Parking is free in all the Council operated car parks in Ross for this day.The Ross Gazette will at the event taking lots of pictures so be sure to check next week’s paper especially if you are wearing a festive outfit.
