A Goodrich couple, who will take part in the Big Battlefield Bike Ride (BBBR) this September to raise funds for Help For Heroes, will be doing a static bike ride at Morrisons in Ross-on-Wye today (Friday, May 5th) to generate some extra donations for their cause.
Claire and Andy Herbert will begin BBBR on September 10th, where they will each cycle 350 miles over six days.
Speaking about this forthcoming fundraising challenge, Andy, who is a Gulf War veteran, told the Gazette: “We will be cycling alongside 200 fellow fundraisers and members of the wounded, injured and sick military community. We have been assured that we will experience a physical and emotional challenge unlike any other.”
Andy and Claire hope to raise at least £6000 for Help for Heroes by the time they complete the Battlefield Bike Ride. To support them, please visit their online donation page, or go along to Morrisons today, between 10am and 3pm, to see them.
