It will be Hereford Police Choir’s 60th anniversary this year, so the group are singing a concert in each of the Market Towns in the county. It will be Ross’ turn, on Saturday, July 15th at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church.

This event has be organised by the Friends of St Mary’s and the group will be selling tickets on Saturday, July 15th, in the Ross Market apron between 9.30am and 12.30am.

If you are unable to make it into the centre of Ross-on-Wye on this day, you can book tickets by phone, by calling Ted on 01989 564967, or you may be able to buy tickets on door.

The programme is full of classic male voice repertoire such as negro spirituals, but a section with three arrangements from Les Miserables and later an arrangement of Perry Como songs will show the versatility of the choir, who are very much a part of the Welsh Male Voice choir scene – including appearing in the annual Albert Hall festival for male voices.

They will be joined by Baritone soloist, David Coulson, for two sets of his rather different repertoire.
