Madam, Walford Parish Council is trying to register formally Forest Green as a 'green'. This is a patch of land near the junction of the roads at Leys Hill, Bulls Hill and the road leading to The Dam.
Evidence has been kindly provided with the help of Mrs M Wilce of its use as a green as far back as 1919. We still lack evidence of recent (ie within the last twenty years) of its general use by the nearby community.We should be grateful if anyone who lives or lived near the green who has, (or whose children) used this land for walking, playing, blackberrying etc could provide more recent evidence by writing to
