Madam, I live and work in Ross and I read in a recent Ross Gazette that the Tourist Information Centre may be moving to the Market House. I feel this move would not be a good one. Yes move it, but not there.

Would it not be better to move it into the centre of town as it was before, in Broad Street.

This I feel would bring more people into the town and it would help fill one of the empty shops in the centre.

You need an Information Centre in the heart of the town where it can be a place for people to meet and see what the town has to offer.

A town like Ross needs this place to be in the centre. Let's give a boost to this life line which helps keeps Ross on the tourist map.

Another suggestion for where the TIC could go is the former MEB shop in Gloucester Road.

I hope Herefordshire Council will think about this when they review this plan. It should not all be to do with money and please keep the Heritage Centre where it is.
