Meeks Well Lane, at Symonds Yat West, has been closed to traffic owing to landslips in the vicinity of Vineyard and Lavender Cottage.

Herefordshire Council and its partner Amey have drawn up a design to stabilise the landslips, and a contractor has been appointed to carry out the work.

Construction began this week, and will continue for roughly 14 weeks. The current road closure and associated diversionary routes will remain in place until the stabilisation work is finished.
