Fire crews from Ross, Fownhope, Whitchurch, Ledbury, Malvern, Hereford, Droitwich, Worcester and Gloucester are currently dealing with a large industrial unit fire at the Haigh Industrial Estate.
The fire started at approximately 5.45pm. An eyewitness told the Ross Gazette the fire started in Aqua-Heat.
Fire crews are expected to be on scene for a number of hours.

If you live in the Hildersley area the advice is to stay indoors and close all windows due to smoke. Welsh Water are advising that water may turn brown for a short time, and to run the water until clear. Reports from eye witnesses say Aqua-Heat and The Safety Shack have been destroyed by the fire.21.34pm Environment Agency on scene advising fire crews to minimise environmental impacts.22.22pm A press release from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service has said that fire crews are still in attendance at a serious fire at Haigh Industrial Estate in Ross-on-Wye. Initially they were face with a severe fire involving exploding propane canisters. At the height of the fire a total of six fire engines were in attendance, along with Environmental Protection Units, an aerial ladder platform, Police, Ambulance and Environmental Agency staff. A statement from Incident Commander George Marshall said "The incident is under control but there is still a large volume of smoke drifiting towards the Hildersley area, and residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed. This incident is still ongoing."People are advised to avoid the area if possible.
