Madam, The article on potholes in the Ross Gazette on March 27th said: "the long lasting way to fill in holes is only carried out on main roads with the classification A or B." It would be more correct to say 'on SOME roads with the classification A or B'.
A cursory examination of the B4224 from the A40 to the South Herefordshire Golf Club and the A40 on the western outskirts of Lea will reveal the vast majority of potholes are being repaired by just chucking tarmac in the pothole. Where are these A and B roads that are getting 'long lasting' repairs?
