Dear Editor

As a dog walker, I frequently use many of the public footpaths in Ross-on-Wye. Most of these seem to be well maintained.

However, the path around the perimeter of the Morrisons back entrance, which is also adjacent to the Broadmeadow Caravan Park, is extremely overgrown and very untidy.

It also seems to have become a haven for young people socialising there in the evenings and leaving all of their litter (including broken glass) behind.

I feel that this particular area, with a little more attention, could be made into something more practical and more attractive for our summer visitors.

I was born and bred in Ross-on-Wye, and feel ashamed that the town has become so neglected in some of its most beautiful places.
