Members of Ross Library Development Group were at the Library again this week collecting signatures for a petition against the possible closure of this well used, and much loved, local asset.
David Ravenscroft, a Ross-on-Wye town councillor and Chairman of the RLDG, was accompanied by another Town Councillor, Chris Bartrum, on Thursday, September 3rd. Other members of the group and Councillors had been on duty collecting names for the petition on other days.
So far, the petition has more than 2000 signatures, when the hard copy of the petition is combined with an online version.
Tudorville Post Office and the Market House have copies of the petition. The RLDG will be at the Market Place on September 24th at the same time as the Herefordshire Council budget consultation roadshow.
