Gloucestershire author Phil Barnes has just published the sequel to his debut novel My Teacher’s a Robot! His new book, My Teacher’s a Spy! is already receiving 5-star reviews on Amazon.
Phil, and publisher Austin Macauley are donating a percentage of sales from the book to the MND Association, a charity supporting those battling motor neurone disease. Currently 10% of sales are donated to the MND, which also commemorates the death of the author’s brother-in-law three years ago.
“It is full of twists and turns and I think it will keep the reader on their toes trying to work out who has done what and how. I am trying to make each book slightly different, even though they are in a series, so my next book is a comedy” said Phil Barnes.
In a crime thriller for young readers, four children start out simply trying to find out if their suspicions are true but rapidly discover that the murky waters of intrigue are deeper than they thought. And when Andrew goes missing the girls must pull together, fight their tears and continue their detective course as one by one they, too, succumb to the criminal ...whoever he or she is.
