Are you looking for a new interest? Have you just arrived in Ross and want to meet new people and make new friends? The U3A (University if the Third Age) may be just what you are looking for. It is a nationwide organisation which caters for the over sixties and provides the opportunity of joining local groups to follow new interests.

From academic to lighthearted, from History to Mah Jong, from Theatre  to Rummikub, there is bound to be a group for you at your local Ross branch. They have interesting talks on the third Monday of each month at the Larruperz Centre.

On Monday, November 20th at 2.30 pm, the talk will be "A solo walk across Africa" given by Fran Sandham. Visitors are most welcome.

The Art Group will be holding an exhibition of some of their work in the Dennis Potter room at the Library from November 20th for one week. Some of their paintings will be on sale in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. The display will be well worth viewing.

Maybe you have a particular hobby or interest you’d like to promote or share with like minded people. Come along to the next meeting, the U3A would love to meet you.
