Ross residents are concerned that Herefordshire Council is making decisions that affect them, based on too little information.

A further meeting about the proposed housing development at Hildersley was called by Ross Rural Parish Council on Wednesday, September 15th at the Larruperz Centre. It was addressed by officers from Herefordshire Council's Forward Planning, as well as District Councillor and Cabinet Member John Jarvis.

At a previous meeting on Monday, July 26th, which the Gazette attended, it was reported that at least 350 new houses could be built on greenfield sites at Hildersley, if a new proposal by Herefordshire Council planning officers comes to fruition.

A'Place Shaping' questionnaire was handed out to members of the public earlier this year. Many of those who asked questions at Wednesday's meeting, were concerned that the conclusions drawn had been based on too few responses to the questionaire.
