Local MP, Paul Keetch, joined in the celebrations at Much Birch Primary School where pupils have exceeded in sporting activities this academic year.
Paul said: "The school has had a great year of sport. Many children have participated in a variety of sports both inside and outside school. These have included netball, football, tag rugby, kwik cricket, tri-golf, tennis, orienteering, rounders and athletics. The pupils have participated in a number of friendly matches with other schools and taken part in many Local and County events.
"With their sporting successes, the school has received the Government Primary School Sport Activemark and Much Birch Primary was highly commended in the Herefordshire Sports Council Primary School of the Year Award.
