A new portable cricket net was unveiled at the first junior training session of the new season at Ross Cricket Club on April 13th. Ross CC is very grateful for the support of the Herefordshire Youth Opportunities Fund.
Club member, sixteen year old Ed Cinderey (pictured sixth from right), completed his UK CC Level one cricket coaching award last year and in his first season of coaching, identified a need for a mobile net at the club. Ed made an application to the Herefordshire Youth Funding Panel on behalf of the club. His application was successful and the club received much needed funds to purchase a net from Johnjac Cricket Supplies. Full story in this week's Gazette.
