Ross United under 12s, sponsored by Express Windows Coleford and Colemans Stationers, were away to Pegasus on Sunday afternoon.

Due to illness, Ross only had nine players and they had to withstand early pressure with Bradley, Dan and Ralph defending well.  The deadlock was soon broken with two goals from Callum in as many minutes and then Ollie scored to make it 3 - 0.  Pegasus fought back and despite two excellent saves from Kieran, scored in the 23rd minute to make it 3 - 1.  Two quick goals from McCauley and a smart 'turn and shot' by Josh made the half-time score 5 - 1 to Ross.

The second half started with Pegasus on the attack but Ross remained tight at the back with the excellent support from the midfield quartet of Peter, Josh, McCauley and Ollie.  Ralph had a goal-bound shot turned away by the Pegasus keeper at full stretch, and from the resulting corner Josh scored Ross' sixth goal in the 43rd minute with a header.  Pegasus scored their second goal before further goals from Josh and a brace from Callum made the score 9 - 2. The manager's man of the match was awarded to the whole Ross team – Kieran, Ralph, Dan, Bradley,  Ollie, McCauley, Peter, Josh and Callum.
