DOG owners picked up potentially life-saving skills during a first aid course held in Ross-on-Wye.
The session took place at Tudorville and District Community Centre, where participants were taught how to respond to a range of emergencies involving their pets.
Training covered wound care, CPR and poisoning, as well as how to deal with heat stroke, seizures and choking.
Organiser Jojo Morris described the course as “thoroughly successful, informative and thought provoking” and thanked Amy and Tara for providing the tuition.
Those attending were able to learn practical skills which could prove vital if their dog became ill or injured before professional veterinary help was available.
Everyone who took part also received a goody bag, with presentation slides and certificates being sent afterwards.
