Gorsley Baptist Church’s diaconate has requested planning permission to extend their place of worship on Gorsley Common Road.

The plans detail a proposed coffee shop extension, with a new access route and car parking area. It also proposes a new play space, which will be adjacent to Gorsley Baptist Church.

The plan is to provide a coffee shop for the village next to their existing facilities and the new village store and post office.

Architects who are working on the scheme say that the proposals will enhance the street scene and create a contemporary design which is sensitive to the overall character and style of the existing church building.

Residents are able to submit their comments to Herefordshire Council until November 15th.

Councillors hope to make and confirm their decision by November 27th.
