PLANS to demolish an existing dwelling in Greytree, along with its associated annex, and for the construction of two homes in its place, have been approved by Herefordshire planners.

This application states that the new dwellings – one three bedroomed property and a four-bed home would replace Tiffany and Little Tiffany in Sixth Avenue.

Both the current buildings on site have been unoccupied since 2023, which have been classified as uninhabitable and un-mortgageable.

Planning officer Chloe Allen-Hewitt noted that the Ross-on-Wye ‘Urban Market’ Housing Mix would apply in light of the scale of development proposed. This shows that the predominant needs is for three-bed homes

The dwellings would be constructed in brick and render beneath tiled roofs, reflecting the predominant materials found within the surrounding area.

The site would utilise the existing access for one property while the other dwelling would have a new vehicular access created along the south boundary.
