Ten months after opening the Tudorville and District Community Centre (TDCC) has a new car park. The number of bookings for the hire of the Centre has been growing every month and extra car parking was needed to avoid causing inconvenience to local residents as more and more people attend clubs and activities at the Centre. The car park also allows for safe off road parking for the disabled users of the Centre
Financing for the car park came from the tireless efforts of the TDCC fundraisers and monies from a Herefordshire Council Section 106 planning agreement raised when the houses were built at Vine Tree Farm.
The Trustees asked Luke Freeman, Joint Managing Director of locally based company MF Freeman Group to come to cut the ribbon because of all the support his company has given to the TDCC since the project started.
Having cut the ribbon Luke took a tour of the premises and was amazed by the changes. He said:?"I can't believe the progress that's been made here in a year. It's been a real pleasure to support people who are doing so much for their local community and see a valuable community asset continuing in a beneficial use."
Information on activities at the TDCC and how to the hire the Centre are on the website http://www.tdcc-online.co.uk">www.tdcc-online.co.uk
