LOCAL police are appealing for information to identify three boys believed to have used water pistols to spray passing vehicles in Ross-on-Wye.

The incident, classified as anti-social behaviour, occurred on July 20 between 3pm and 3.15pm on Cantilupe Road and Gloucester Road.

It is understood that the boys used water pistols to spray passing vehicles and that water struck at least one driver and a young child.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “While some may view this type of behaviour as harmless, however we are investigating concerns about the impact on those affected and any potential risk posed to road users.

“This appeal forms part of ongoing efforts to address reports of anti-social behaviour within the town.

“Officers are keen to establish the full circumstances of this incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.
