MADAM, Ross Rural Parish Council has discussed the precept for the financial year 2010 / 2011 and has decided that it should remain at its current level. This will hopefully be good news for residents in these hard times.
The precept is the portion of money given to Parish Councils from the Council Tax that is paid to Herefordshire Council.
Residents are welcome to attend our meetings; they are advertised on the Parish Notice Boards in Greytree and Hildersley, and they take place in the Larruperz Centre.
Ross Rural Parish Council has also bought daffodil bulbs for the verge by Hildersley roundabout and they have been planted by the Can Do Crew, part of Enviroability.
The daffodils should make an attractive approach to the town when spring arrives.
