ON September 16th, the Herefordshire branch of the Samaritans collected at Morrison’s Ross. Thanks to the generosity of their customers over £600 was raised from donations. The current running cost of the branch, which has been providing support to local people for 45 years, is now in excess of £60,000 and is dependent on voluntary donations and fundraising to meet these costs.

The Christmas Fair in aid of the local branch of Samaritans will take place at The Chase Hotel on Thursday, November 9th from 10 until 3, entry £5 and everybody is welcome.
