• A production team from a BBC television programme were in Ross last week. They were filming members of the Herefordshire Council Community Protection Team who were in Ross to take action against owners who fail to clear up the mess after their dogs have fouled sports pitches and other areas in the town. Councillor Andrew Atkinson has been asking the Herefordshire team to target Ross as dog mess is one of the major complaints he encountered during his election campaign.
