Madam, I do hope your readers will follow the link on the Herefordshire Council planning website to Tesco's proposed annihilation of Ross Town (132028/F) and tell them what you think.

Tesco will hoover up the vital sales that smaller traders rely upon, there will not be an increase in full time jobs overall and the town's character will be destroyed.

They will also take away two well used public car parks for themselves to reduce further the choice you once had. Some people think that there has been a certain amount of lobbying going on – let's see if our councillors stand up to the mighty juggernaut.
