Dear Editor,

Having recently suffered a kitchen fire I would like to put on record my sincere thanks to Ross Firemen.

They attended within minutes of being called and dealt efficiently with everything. Also their kindness and consideration to me was outstanding.

The paramedics who also attended gave me the best attention whilst in Ross and also taking me to Hereford A&E and my grateful thanks are due to them.

We are so lucky in this country to have these services – all of which are free - we do not always appreciate what we have.

Also heartfelt thanks to my friends and neighbours for all their help.
